Madrid is a cosmopolitan city with an endless variety of accommodations. However, if you’re traveling to the Spanish capital only for a couple of days and have a restricted budget, consider choosing your lodging among hostels in Madrid. There are a couple of districts that are recognized as budgetary, but at the same time, they’re close to the centre and the city’s landmarks. Book your hostel in La Latina district, located in the southern part of the city. Here, you’ll explore the architecture, the biggest market, and traditional tapas bars only around 20 minutes from the centre. The Malasana district will also be budgetary, with attractive nightlife and 15 minutes from the main landmarks on foot.
